Hammered Wedding Rings

Hammered wedding rings carry a dimpled, forged texture across the outside of the band. Each facet catches the light at a different angle, so the ring reads as something made by hand rather than machined, and the texture hides the small marks of daily wear far better than a polished surface does. If you like the idea of a plain band but find most of them too flat, this is the finish to look at.

Ours are hammered in tungsten carbide and titanium, some with an inlay of Swedish meteorite or whisky barrel oak running through the centre, in 6mm and 8mm widths. Tungsten gives a heavier ring with a deep, dark finish; titanium is noticeably lighter on the hand. Both have a comfort-fit interior, and neither can be resized once made, so it is worth getting the size right first time.
